Vineyards for our wines are located in Santa Barbara County (Chardonnay) and Paso Robles (Merlot), two outstanding sub-regions on the Central Coast. Just north of the gracious colonial enclave of Santa Barbara, our estate Chardonnay vines develop lush citrus fruit flavors enhanced by oak aging. Further up the coast, our Merlot thrives in the well-drained soils of Paso Robles, a superlative region for Bordeaux varieties. Aging our Merlot on French oak complements its natural berry flavors with appealing spice notes and a velvety texture.
